This contest is designed to provide students with meaningful opportunities to explore language, creativity, and cultural understanding through haiku. It is made possible through the dedication of educators and volunteers.

To help sustain and operate the contest, we invite teachers to consider making an optional contribution if they wish. Contributions help support the operation of the Student Haiku Contest, including administration, judging, educational materials, and the continued development of related programs.

Please note that this contribution is entirely optional, and whether or not a contribution is made has no impact on participation or judging.
